I Heart Faces: Day Six: Burst of Red

I actually took photos of alot
of red things due to my
sister being in love with
Christmas.

I decided I liked this one the best.
I was feeling kinda rusty and
irritable today so I think
I could have done better...

I dont really want to share the others
they didnt look anything special.
Not that this one is the best in
the box...but it will do.

On the other hand I did get some
super cute pictures of my
sisters dog Marci.

I just really like the
view on this one and the
kitchen color in the background.

And this...
well this is just cute.

=)

Thanks for looking!

I Heart Faces: Day Five: Someone You Love

Im sure you can take a
guess at what or who I took a
photo of...

Thats right my one and only
Shane - O - Mac
Together 6 years in February.

We took a few photos...
I like this one alot too...
but the top one is sharper
thus the winner.

Even took a pic together
and yes I thought about using it.
I like how it looks like
for once hes taking the pic...
but he wasnt he was just my tripod.
I guess you could say we took
it together.

=)

Thanks for looking!!!

I Hear Faces: Day Four: Shadow Play

Im not a fan of this one
due to the fact Ive never tried
to take a photo of a shadow.
AND I FEAR WHAT
I DONT KNOW!!!
JK

I never tried it
but I did notice the colorful
shadow this vase was casting.
And here is my shadow play
for day four.

Its beginning to look alot like Christmas!

Not one for the holidays usually.
Unless its Halloween.

And since my mom passed away
I really have not been much of a Christmas fan.
Plus I dont know for sure if I was to
begin with.

I wasn't at an age where I had money for
presents or even had a real job till recently.
And unfortunately I find myself jobless on Christmas
AGAIN.

But I moved out here to South Carolina in
November with my sister who LOVES Christmas.
So Im seeing ALOT of decorations.
And Im not gonna lie, its kinda nice.
Even for someone who is kind of a
scrooge about Christmas.

But anyway, she gave me a little tree to
put in my room and decorate and these are some
close ups of the ornaments she gave me to put on
the little silver tree.
YES, I know there black. Like my heart.
JK, there black, silver, and white.
CLASSY.

I like em alot, I had always thought
of what a tree might look like
with this color scheme.
And Im satisfied.

I Heart Faces December Photo Challenge: 30 Day

These are things on Facebook that people use
to do, I am guilty of doing them as well.
And I havnt done one in a long time so
I thought I would do this one.

I have 1-3 already done so I will go ahead and
post those on this post.

Day One:
YOU

Not the Best Picture of me, but it will do.
=)

Day Two:
An Elf
I thought this one was gonna be hard....LOL NOT.
Its December and luckly my sister that I am currently
living with loves christmas ergo...
Christmas Decorations!
And this cute antique elf,
it was her grandmothers...or great grandmothers.
Anyway I liked it better than the ever popular
ELF ON A SHELF.
Even though this I think was an elf on a shelf.
Aslo this photo will be in the elf on a shelf contest on
Iheartfaces.com

Day Three:
What you are Reading.

Ugh, I dont read.
I think I have finished two books in my whole life.
One when I was little called "nobody wants Barkley"
As sad and depressing book "For Kids" that
a lonely kid like myself shouldn't read.
The other being "wishful drinking" by Carrie Fisher.
Loved it!
But if I found reading to be a hobby,
I imagine I would read these books
I found in my sisters bookshelf.
PS: I have read some of the bottom book....
SOME.

Thanks for looking!!!
More to come tomorrow and the rest of December!!

For more stuff like this by other people and future
"contests"

Finally Here

My sister has been waiting for this for a while.
And the day she went in to have her she had to wait
some more. I got to the hospital at 8am
and had to come back to tulsa to take Shane to work at 4:30
...and sleep a little...shhhh. LOL

But I got the call as I was about to take Shane to work
that "Shes about to have her".
I rushed Shane to work, and headed back to claremore
to hopefully meet my new niece.
I got there around 5:15 and we all waited.
Facebooking, playin angry birds, whatever kept us entertained
as we waited.

I am always on facebook and I saw her. I looked up at everyone
and said did she have the baby? There was a picture of a new
baby on her facebook page. Yep she had her, and facebook got to see
her before the family did. LOL
About a couple of min after that Daniel had came in
and said we can come back and see her.

My heart was bursting and melting at the same time.
We walked in to this, my little sister smiling at her
new addition to her family.

It still hadnt hit me until this...
Seeing that little precious cry and full of life,
just about made me cry. There she was, my little sisters baby.
So small and precious.

Waited so long to see that sweet face.

Daniels sister/Harlies Aunt was first to have the
honor to hold her.

Daniels Mom/Grandma Sandra, Looking so proud of her granddaughter.

Next was Daniels dad/Grandpa Clint and Daniel.
Proud grandfather and father.
Thought this picture was special because it wasn't staged.

Daniels mom, Grandma Sandra.

Denise Dad, Grandpa Dan. I dont think I have ever seen
him so happy. This picture makes my heart melt.

I love photos that capture exactly how the person felt.
Or in this case baby, I think she was getting hungry at this point.

Feeding her for the first time with the nurses assistance.

She looks so accomplished and complete with
Harley in her arms.

This warms my heart.

One Happy Daddy

Denise's Mom/My other mom lives in Colorado so we
skyped her. It was really cool that she could be there that way.

Denise/My Brother Daniel holding her.

Her cute little chubby hand holding her uncles finger.

So Small, So Sweet

So Glad she is here.

A little History on Me.

On Wednesday, October 17, 2012,
I woke up way to early to be at the hospital.
My baby sister is having her baby!

First let me tell you the history of my Denise and I.
We aren't blood sisters, but we might as well be.
We lived on the same street our hole lives and have
been friends, pretty much the entire time.

I met Denise and her brother, who I know consider my
brother and sister, riding my bike.
I am technically an only child, my mother and
father only had me together. I do have half sisters and one
half brother. But they are much older than me,
so I spent alot of my childhood alone. But I also spent
alot of time around friends.

Like I was saying, I met Denise riding my bike.
I think I had seen them wandering the neighborhood at some
point so I knew there were kids my age. This was exciting to me
because there weren't other kids on the block for alog time.
Probably till we were in middle school.

So, I thought I would ride my bike past there house,
hoping they would come outside and play.
Well my plan backfired and I wrecked my bike infront of there
house instead. A few months later I did meet them and well thats
history.

How did she become like a sister to me?
Well other than the fact she was closer to my age than
my blood siblings, I had always wanted a younger sister.
Also my mother was quite older, so she was tired or
working really hard to make sure I had a good
life. Which I did and I cant thank her enough for that.

Anyways there mother kind of became a mother to me as well.
I ate dinner with them alot, I saw them every christmas, fourth
of july and Halloween. My favorite holidays. But also there mother
talked to me about things I couldnt talk with my mother about.
For instance the time of the month talk and "the talk".

Well along with all this Denise was there with it too,
Her brother and her didnt get along as they do today, in my
eyes. I just kinda took her on as my little sister, well because I knew
everything about her and I grew up with her everyday.
On top of that I became very protective of her,
which became a problem at one time and Im pretty sure she hated
me. But I think she knows now why I was the way I was with
her and the boyfriend.

But thats another story for another blog.
Anyways now that we have gone through that and
many other situations in our life. We are so close and
I am so happy for that. I care so much
about that little girl, she may never know.

And Now we come to the current. She has had a baby.
I cant believe my little sister beat me to the punch! LOL
But I couldnt be happier for her, she deserves so much happiness.
And I truly believe she has found that. The man she is with is
so good to her, and I can really see how much happier she is
now than she has been in a while.

Her little girl came into the world on October 17, 2012
5:40 PM.

My baby sister has her own baby. Its so mind blowing
because I have watched her grow up.
More than once now.

 Then
This one doesnt go as far back as others.
We were so busy having fun, we didnt have time to take pictures.
I think her mom has some, Ill have to get them from her sometime.
Now
Took this her senior year.

My sister's maternity photos.

I hadnt posted photos from my little sister photo shoot.
And guess what the baby is finally here!
So in this blog your gonna get maternity photos and
photos from the day her little one arrived into the world.

The Props.
The little shoes I bought her and the most perfect sonogram.

Probaby should have propped the shoes up in this one,
but I still like it.

My Beautiful sister and mommie to be.

The story behind this is, I was trying to tell her to stick her neck out.
Daniel being the pro, showed her how its done.
HA!

There we go, she got it.

Shes really short and in this one she came out taller than him. :)

They are so in love, its so sweet.

All about the belly!

you can really see the baby smile.

My sister is so beautiful.

And there it is, the clique maternity photo.

My favorite photo from the shoot.
You can feel the love, not just see it.

Ah, young love.

So sweet.
As I said, I am a little behind and Harlie is now here.
Check out my next blog for hospital photos of the day she entered the world.
