Sunkissed

I've been looking at these photoshop actions by MCP Photoshop Actions, for quite a while now. 

Pondering for a few months if I want to spend the money or not, and well...

I am soooo glad I did. 

So far my favorite action is called sunkissed and these are a few examples of what that looks like.

I'll be trying this effect on some other photos, but it looks really good on close ups.

Something to Blog About

I really like this whole blogging thing but I find I really dont have too much to blog about seeing as I dont have kids and granted I am a photographer I'm still pretty new to this scene. But I think I may have found something to blog about. FOOD!!!! I really want to try my hand at some food photography and I have a macro lens now so Im going to give it a try! The first place I tryed my new lens was my favorite place to eat sushi in Tulsa....SUSHI TRAIN!!! If you havnt been there I highly recomend it, its nothing fancy, but I love the sushi there and recomend the C-K roll. MMMMMMM

  It has spicey crab, cream cheese and fried shrimp!!

My favorite part is the avocado and the spicy mayo on top!!

DROOL!!

Photoshop; Before and After

Recently my sister Holly introduced me to the Pioneer Woman.

For those of you who don't know her, she's an Okie that has neat photography tips as well as recipes.

She also offers photoshop actions...which I didnt know about also until I discovered the Pioneer Woman. 

Sad I know, as someone who has been photoshoping and photographing since 2007. I should know about this.

I love Critters

I am a HUGE animal lover. 

I have been a Pescetarian since March of 2008

This means the only meat I eat is fish and I still eat dairy.

Although I feel bad about the dairy because a cow has to give birth in order to produce the milk that makes the cheese.

But anywho, Animals are one of my favorite subjects to photograph.

I recently got a couple of cute shots of my friend Genas cat named Monty. 

This kitty is so ornery and hyper but so hillarious.

I recently started bringing my ferrets over to Genas so they could have play dates.

Sparks the Dog

This week I am ''baby sitting'' my sisters dog Sparks.

What can we say about miss Sparks....well she loves to show you her butt the first time you walk in the door.

If shes not running a muck around the house she likes to lay all over you on the couch.

 

But all in all she is indeed a joy.

The real reason I wanted to post this blog about Sparks is for the photos I am getting of her this week.

New to Blogging!

Well I thought I would give this whole blogging thing a shot. 

I find myself searching for background and my buddy Megan comes on skype. 

She's in Afghanistan so of course I put this on pause to give her a ring!

Its good to know shes safe over there, a few people from Oklahoma have been lost in her infantry.
